Wihara Kesejahteraan Kosambi Baru established the Columbarium (孝恩堂) as a service for the placement of urns.
The Columbarium at Wihara Kesejahteraan Kosambi Baru is also known as 'xiao en tang' (
孝恩堂), which roughly translates to ‘Filial Piety Room’, where families of the deceased can perform a devotion to their parents and ancestors by praying or following the Transfer of Merits ritual which is held 3 times a year.
We hope that the tradition of filial piety can be passed on to the future generations, and that the ceremony of Transfering Merits that are carried out regularly can reach the deceased. We hope that the deceased can be reborn in the Pure Land.
